5 Best Language Learning Apps for 2022 That Are Great

I know by reading the importance of learning new language and its benefits for entrepreneurs, you will be so anxious to join the leagues of bilingual peers. That’s a nice decision you’re making right there and I’m here to help you with all the resources you need for your growth.

There are two ways of language learning. If you are so keen in making languages your specialty, you can go for the course linguistics in a university.

In the course of your study, you will be taught everything you need to learn within the period of time which could be 4 years for most schools unless you want to do it as an additional course and that will only take you 2 years.

However, if you aren’t interested in changing your course and you would want to learn a new language, then this post is for you as I’ll be mentioning some important apps you can use in learning new languages.

These following apps and website will give you the right material needed for your adequate learning.

Let’s dive right into the list:

1. Busuu

Busuu is one of the popular language learning app you can find useful. The app is equipped with all the necessary things you need to learn your favorite language.

Immediately after signing up for Busuu, you will be given the chance to select the language you would love to learn, and the app will help you know how advanced you are with it, ask why you want to learn it, and to what level.

You can then set a daily study goal which will serve as a timetable.

There are just limited features in the free classes of busuu which means you will have to subscribe to enjoy the whole package.

The Premium plan costs $6 per month but there’s little discount if you subscribe for a year.

2. Lirica

Lirica is also another awesome language learning app that teaches new language using songs and lyrics.

We wonder why some of us could sing some songs even without understanding the language, it’s because if we listen to any song very well, we will learn all the words through repetition even if they’re in a different language.

But knowing what the song mean is the real issue right here and that’s the concept used by lirica.

This app is awesome and unique at the way it approaches teaching Spanish and German. Instead of using the normal traditional teaching methods for learning a language, Lirica is programed to use popular music by Latin and reggaeton artists to help you learn language and grammar.

You can try out the one week free plan on the app but I’m sure by the time you are done with the one week, you will want to subscribe for the main plan which is just 4dollar per month.

3. Babbel

Babbel can be compared to a foreign language course you will be taught in an online school curriculum.

The lowest design of the Babbel app helps in simplifying a new language that may seem so hard and complex without making it boring.

In Each lesson you takes, you go through translations which also includes different types of the word or phrase, pictures and whether it’s formal or informal. If it asks you to spell a phrase, the letters are included.

This app also help you learn how to use the new words you have learnt by making use of them in sentences by playing audio conversation where the word is been used repeatedly.

You can enjoy Babbel for free as much as you want to but I’ll advice you subscribe to a package.

4. Memrise

Another popular language learning app is memrise. One of the best features of the app is the parts of Memrise where a short videos will be played to show you how real locals express different phrases in conversation.

This will make you understand not only the words but the intonation and expression.

You can access some free lessons daily but to enjoy the whole app anytime any day, you will have to subscribe for the upgraded version.

5. Duolingo

Duolingo is also a nice and awesome language learning app.

The app is built in a very bright and colorful Interface.

One of the awesome feature of the app is the games you will enjoy in-between your learning. This game also helps in learning as they are games pertaining to the lesson you just finished.

If you think you haven’t understood a particular part of the course, you can go back to it until you are satisfied.

With just 7$ per month, you have full access for the app.

Conclusion

If you are truly serious about learning your language, I will strongly advice you run away from free apps. Not that they aren’t good but you should subscribe for their plans because half knowledge won’t profit you at all.

For those who don’t like learning things on their mobile phone but prefer using the system, you can check our next post which will be Website where you can learn new languages.
